A man has been accused after a police shooting in Southeast Melbourne on Friday morning.
The charges were presented after a car allegedly evaded the police in an attempt to interception vehicles by the Victoria Police, in Police Road in Mulgrave at 5.30 in the morning yesterday.
A 29 -year -old passenger, was supposedly armed with a firearm and the police shot him after a confrontation occurred.
She was taken to the hospital with injuries that did not enhance life, where she remains.
A 27 -year -old man, the alleged car driver, was arrested on the scene.
He has been accused of 21 crimes that include reckless behavior in danger of life, a prohibited person who owns a firearm, theft of aggravated cars, theft and theft of a motorized vehicle.
An incident investigation is underway.
