A 29 -year -old man was accused of murder compared to Tyrone Munns’s alleged murder, police said.
Police, including the Armed Criminals Squad, arrested the man in a Christchurch speech around 2 pm today, said Sergeant Det Snr Damon Wells.
The man will appear at the Christchurch District Court tomorrow, accused of murder, added Sergeant Snr Snr.
Det Snr Sgt Wells said community members had information, which helped in prison.
Police confirmed earlier this month that Munns was seriously injured at Innes RD in Mairehau, Christchurch, on March 9. He died on the spot, despite efforts to save him.
