Police reported an accusation of aggression related to the investigation of murder of a woman found dead in a car in Wauku around 5:40 pm on Friday.
A postmortem was held on Sunday.
Detective Karen Bright inspector said police are talking to a 50-year-old man who will appear at the Pukekohe District Court on Monday, accused of male robberies.
Police cannot rule out more accusations.
Scene tests in two locations are being conducted as part of the investigation.
Police are not looking for anyone else connected to death.
