Liverpool continued his march towards the premiere League title with a 1-0 victory over Everton in a meseyside derby while Diogo Jota placed the winner at the second half on Wednesday.
But the 246th meeting between the city’s rivals was fired by a fierce Tackle by James Tarkowski of the Toffee in Alexis Mac Allister of the Reds, with Tarkowski seen as lucky that only a yellow letter is shown.
The mood heated in Anfield was uploaded another notch with the contentious Towle early. Tarkowski won the ball, but his tachuelas tracking caught Mac Allister Square in the calf.

Slot’s men seemed slow and disjointed on Wednesday and Everton could have moved on when Beto ran from Virgil Van Dijk defender and defeated goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher before hitting his shot against the post.
Kelleher began in the goal for Liverpool, with the regular opener Alisson recovering from a brain shock suffered in the international service with Brazil.
“We were playing against Everton, they make it very difficult for you,” said Van Dijk. The games that we have played between us have always been difficult.
“They have a certain way of playing and you have to be ready for it. The first half was not the best, but we kept a clean and obviously Jota blade made a fantastic goal. Three points and we continue.”
Moyes remained without a victory in Anfield in 22 games leading Manchester United, Sunderland and West Ham United, as well as in his current team.
“Liverpool was the best team, there is no doubt about that,” Moyes said.
“But I don’t like the goal, I think the goal was out of play. I am really surprised that it hasn’t occurred. Or maybe I am not surprised. I don’t think many managers come here and think they have many decisions in Anfield in general.”
In other results, Manchester City jumped to fourth place with a 2-0 victory over Leicester City with goals from Jack Grealish and Omar Marmoush.
Newcastle was in touch for the qualification of the Champions League with a 2-1 victory over Brentford, crowned by an impressive winner of Sandro Tonali.
Aston Villa had an easy 3-0 victory over Brighton, the city of Ipswich, with the descent, beat Bournemouth 2-1 and Southampton Drew with Crystal Palace 1-1.
