There is no threat of a tsunami after a 6.7 magnitude earthquake on the lower southern island, says the National Emergency Management Agency (Nema).

The earthquake was initially recorded as 7.0, but was relegated by Nema.

Nema said there was no threat to Earth and people did not need to evacuate.
