Jaden Schwartz scored twice, lap length Jani Nyman and Matty Beniers 16 seconds apart, and Joey Daccord made 36 saves to help Seattle Kraken beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-1 on Thursday night and beat three games.

“I think the first phase is OK, it’s not our best,” said Kris Knoblauch, the Oilers coach after the game.

Play back-to-back with a slightly fresh team; they will have more jumps, more legs. We survived the first period and I think that’s OK. But starting in the second phase, this starts with the first shift. A few times in the hockey, we were forced to take the punishment, and then scored after that, and then we rewind after that. ”

Andre Burakovsky and Jared McCann also scored for Kraken, who scored five times in the second stage.
