A driver whose vehicle hit a building at Howick from Auckland on Friday died.
The car crashed into a building near the intersection with Cook and Picton streets, police said shortly before 6:30 pm.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle.
Police said they were asking questions on behalf of the coroner.
