Federal Judge in Washington, Colombia District, is considering blocking the recent executive order of President Donald Trump, aimed at the law firm, which for years has been representing Dominion voting systems, the leading supplier of electoral technology in the US
Judge Loren Alihan is considering the argument of Syman Godfrey, who says the president’s action this month is “grossly non -constitutional”.
The hearing comes as the Trump administration has raised pressure against several law firms and universities.

“The president abuses the powers of his service to possess the power of the executive branch in revenge against organizations and people he does not like,” the Washington case said.
Trump’s executive order seeks to block the company access to government buildings and cancel government contracts, among others, because of their “previous activities”.
For years, Susman Godfrey has been a Dominion vote company, known to provide an agreement of $ 787.5 million from Fox News to arrange that the network is broadcasting false claims for the 2020 election.
The company now says Trump is trying to “punish” them for his work, defending the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.
In particular, Syman Godfrey is still a dominion in his active cases against a number of Trump allies – including Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindel and others.

Since Trump began heading to law firms, nine of the largest law firms in the country – including Paul Weiss, Kirkland & Ellis, Willkie Farr and Latham & Watkins – agreed to provide combined legal services of $ 940 million to promote causes supported by the President.
The companies also agreed to eliminate the diversity, justice and the inclusion of hiring practices and the promise of not denying to represent clients based on policy.
Alternatively, three other major American companies – Perkins Who, Wilmerhale and Jenner & Block – are fighting the president’s actions against law federal law federal courts, which temporarily stopped the orders from entering into force.
