Last week tonight Host John Oliver took a whip at Mel Gibson after a justice lawyer suggested that the actor is the reason why she was fired.

Oyer also told CNN: “When I got to work on Friday morning, I told a colleague, I really think that Mel Gibson can be my downfall, and within hours of saying that, I am escorted out of my office”

Talking on Monday’s episode of Last week tonight (March 17) Oliver said: ‘Wow, it is honestly incredible. She fired because she did not think that Mel Gibson, especially known for his work in screaming, should have guns. ‘

Oliver then told his viewers to visit Gibson’s Wikipedia page and the various scandals around the Brave heart actor. He also encouraged fans to look for the Wikipedia page of Gibson’s father, who called the comedian “spectacular”.
