Joe Gatto, one of the founding members of Prank Show Impractical jokers, released a statement after a woman accused him of sexual assault in a typo. The comedian said he used “poor judgment” in the past, but that “no one would assault”.
The tapping user, who placed Joozyb under the name, said she met Gatto in Milwaukee in 2023, when she was 19.
Gatto allegedly gave her a few tickets and the two, according to the accused, continued to exchange texts after his actions. She claims that he eventually invited her to her hotel room, and that she went, when a few things happened. ‘

“Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I’m going to take some time off the public eye to focus my energy where I need.”
The comedian was one of the founding members of the Impractical jokers Show, who walked on Trutv and earned a considerable Fandom. He started on the program in 2011 and also appeared in more than 240 episodes during a film version of the program.
He eventually left the prank show in 2021.
At the time of his departure, Gatto quoted ‘issues in my personal life’ and announced that he and his wife, Bessy, had divided.
