Washington – Former President Joe Biden returns to the national stage on Tuesday to raise liberal fears that President Donald Trump’s program threatens the health of social security.
The 82-year-old Democrat largely avoided speaking publicly after leaving the White House in January. This is even when Trump often blames Biden for many of the nation’s problems, often attacking his predecessor by name.
Biden is expected to fight in an early evening at the National Conference of Defenders, Advisers and Representatives of the Disabled in Chicago. While Biden has made several public appearances in recent weeks, the high -profile address on Tuesday focuses on a critical question for tens of millions of Americans who could determine the intermediate elections next year.
“As bilateral leaders have long agreed, the Americans who retire after they have paid in social security, their whole lives deserve the vital support and care services they receive,” says Rachel Buck, CEO of ACRD. “We are glad that the President will join us to discuss how we can work together for a stable and successful future for social security.”
Trump almost immediately began to reduce government workforce after returning to the White House, including thousands of officers in the Social Security Administration.
Along with the planned dismissal of 7,000 workers and controversial plans to impose stricter measures for the resistance of the recipients, the SSA has been tried to allow the Ministry of Government Efficiency of Elon Musk to have access to the social security number of people and other personal information.
Musk, the most rich man in the world and one of Trump’s most influential advisers, called the social security “the biggest scheme of Ponzi of all time.”

Persons who receive additional security income, including the elderly with disabilities and adults and low -income children, also announce that they are receiving a notice that says they “do not receive benefits”.
The agency said the notice was a mistake. And the White House swore that it would not reduce social security benefits, stating that all changes were intended to reduce waste and fraud.
Biden will join Chicago from a bilateral group of former selected employees, including former Senator Roy Blunt, the R-Mo, former Senator Debbie Stabeno, D-Mich.
“Social security is a sacred promise between generations,” O’Mali said. “We are deeply grateful to the president for joining us in ACRD to discuss how we can keep this promise for all Americans.”
Biden is not expected to make frequent public appearances as he goes into his after presidency. He still maintains an office in Washington, but returned to Delaware as his regular home base. Trump has canceled his security permits.
While Biden may be able to help his party raising funds and messages, he left the White House with weak approval approval. Biden is also faced with some progressives who claim he should not have been looking for a second term. Biden ended his candidacy for re -election after his catastrophic debate against Trump and made the way for VCE President Kamala Harris, who lost to Trump in the fall.
Only 39% of Americans had a favorable opinion about Biden in January, according to a Gallup poll, taken shortly after Trump’s inauguration.
The former Democrats’ views were essentially unchanged by a Gallup poll, taken shortly after the November election. They are widely monitored with the constant low assessments of favorableness that Biden experienced in the second half of his presidential term.
