Japanese encephalitis has claimed a second life in NSW and been detected in Brisbane. What is it?


A second man died of Japanese encephalitis virus in Nueva Wales del Sur on March 6, state health authorities confirmed on Friday. In his 70 years, the man was infected while vacations in the Murrumbidgee region.

This follows the death of another man in his 70 years.
