Police need help with their investigation into a serious attack in eastern Christchurch over the weekend.
The police were called to the incident on the RD pages, near Cuffs RD in Linwood, around 5:22 am on Saturday.
“The police are looking to talk to those in the area at the time of the attack.
“In particular, our investigations have established a woman and a person in a Ford Ranger truck can have information to help our questions.
“The police do not believe these people have some involvement in the attack, however, we are looking forward to talking to them because we believe they have valuable information to share.
“We are also appealing to any CCTV or images in the area of Page Road between 5am and 6am on Saturday.”
