A man has died in an alleged stabbing murder in downtown Melbourne.
Police was called to a property in Churchill Avenue, Ascot Vale, at 4 in the morning after the reports of an injured man.
The officers found a man with injuries “consisting of stabbing,” said Victoria Police.
The man died on the scene and has not yet been formally identified.
A second man was arrested at home and will be interviewed by the police.
Police believe they were known to each other.
The investigation is still ongoing.
