A man was found dead out of a property in Northland’s Wellington suburb today, and police are working to determine what happened.

Emergency services were called to an address at Albemarle Road, just before 11am on Tuesday

Detective Nick Pritchard inspector said death was being treated as inexplicable and a scene exam was underway.

“At this moment, death is being treated as inexplicable.

“Members of the Northland community can expect to see a high volume of police officials in the area as these investigations continue,” Pritchard said.

It is the third sudden death to be reported in Wellington on Tuesday.
