Highlanders surpassed by brumbies in Canberra

The highlanders were defeated 34-27 by the Brumbies in Canberra.

They at least won a bonus point for a nearby defeat when Tangitau marked the second of his two attempts in the final minute.

The extreme former blues has been a feeling since moving south, and he didn’t deserve to be on the losing team.

Again, there were some glimpses of high things from highlanders, and they were widely brave and committed as they needed to spend great periods in defense.

But they also made some crucial errors and were thrown for much of the game.

Tangitaau was excellent, and extreme companion Jona Nareki returned to the years with an electricity screen.

In front, it seems Lasaqa liked everything and Star Lock Fabian Holland had another huge performance.

The game had a very dramatic start when the brumbies were reduced to 14 men after a matter of seconds.

Highlanders center, Thomas Umga-Jonsen, placed the opening kick and stood at the top of the Corey Toole flying wing.

A quick upstairs check was followed by Toole, being Binned for 10 minutes.

When Noah Lolesio kicked the Brumbies at an initial advantage, and Taine Robinson kicked out the maximum, it seemed that the highlanders would waste their advantage.

So, against the game, they marked the attempt to open.

The three back was deliciously combined when Sam Gilbert made a bust and found a sliding Nareki, and he appeared in the Tangitaau form to arrest his fifth attempt at the season.

Almost all the rest of the first half belonged to Brumbies as they completely dominated the territory and possession.

They stirred well and recycled well, and their opening attempt came from 17 phases that ended with prostitute Billy Pollard Burrowing.

You will never be able to accuse shirking highlanders your defensive tasks, and they made a power to face, as they just couldn’t get in charge of the ball.

When they got inauguration, they wasted.

Robinson’s struggles continued with a lost touch and another restarted sent to the maximum, and the highland scrum faintings returned.

There were brief glimpses of inspiration, especially when Tangitaau came close to the relentless ball or flanker that Lasaqa got involved.

Unexpectedly, the highlanders almost closed the gap in the minutes of death.

The Brumbies looked a little shocked and fair enough, as they dominated most of the game.

They recovered some composure and leadership after a series of advanced attacks led to an attempt to Toole.

Gilbert immediately kicked the highlanders back in front, and visitors kept a two -point buffer with 10 minutes.

Even more scrum problems for the highlanders were followed by an attempt by the wing of Brumbies, Andy Muirhead, when the lead switched hands and the clock began to run.

Time was the problem for the Highlanders, and they could not recover the ball.

The Brumbies seemed to seal the victory with a demonstration of patience that led to an attempt to centralize Len Ikitau.

Tangitaau was startled by a chip score and chase, and the highlanders struggled better at stopping time to disturb a draw.

They now go to Perth to touch the strength.
