Hanna makes history: Dead man elected to council

Hannah Councilman Nick Bistritan resigned after transferring from town. Two men ran to the evacuated board seat, Mr. Eb Ironside and Mr. Oscar Rowden. The nomination ended on February 26, 1975, and the vote was originally scheduled to be held on March 19, but Roden died of a heart attack before the vote.
