Halifax police investigating shooting near Armdale Roundabout – Halifax

Halifax police fired early in the morning near the roundabout of Armdale.

Officials responded to the 200-300 block of St. Margaret Bay Road around 5:30 a.m. to report a man with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital, which police said was serious but life-threatening injury.

“Currently, investigators believe this is not a random incident and there is no widespread threat to the public,” Halifax Regional Police said in a press release.

This is the second shooting investigation conducted by municipalities this week. Three people were found Sunday night at Ruben Court in Dartmouth.

Two women and a man were injured and were not described as life-threatening.
