Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle are silencing the trolls who have been speculating there’s a feud between them.
Paltrow, 52, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 25, for a fan Q&A where one user asked if she was aware of the “Meghan Markle beef social media says you two have.”
“I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever,” the actress replied in a video before panning the camera to Markle, 43, who was sitting beside her. “Do you understand this?”
Meghan, for her part, sat at Paltrow’s kitchen table and snacked on a piece of pie and shrugged, indicating she had no idea where the rumors originated either.
Despite neither women speaking badly about each other, the internet has been speculating about drama between them over their respective businesses. Paltrow is the founder of lifestyle brand Goop while Meghan recently entered the wellness industry with her brand As Ever.
In addition to her selection of jams, honey and tea, Meghan launched her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, earlier this month. Ahead of the show’s premiere, Paltrow was asked about Meghan entering the lifestyle business. Paltrow shared that there were no hard feelings between them and confessed she did not know Meghan very well.
“I don’t know Meghan and [Prince] Harry,” Paltrow said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all.”

Paltrow added that she maybe one day would extend a neighborly gesture to the couple since the Oscar winner has a home in Montecito, where the former senior royals reside.
“Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie,” she teased.
In addition to wanting to get to know Meghan better, Paltrow declared that there was enough room in the wellness business for both their brands.
“[When] there’s noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them,” she said in an interview with Vanity Fair.
Paltrow elaborated that she was taught to uplift women and their aspirations rather than tear them down.
“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” she explained. “I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”
While Paltrow everything seemed fine between her and Meghan, the internet decided to take a close look at a video posted by the Goop social media page last week. In chef Tracy Anderson’s latest cooking video, she revealed that she was preparing a meal in her “actual kitchen.” At the time fans theorized that was a dig at Meghan, who did not film With Love, Meghan at her home.
