A 13-year-old girl who died in a home in Merseyside was first depicted when her family paid tribute as a ‘bright light’.
Layla Allen died Wednesday night in the flame of a back bedroom of a house in the middle of the selection in Kingsway, Prescot.
The teenager died as husband, wife and five children, according to police in Merseyside, could escape the house near Liverpool.
The fire was set out around 12.30am on Thursday and the neighboring properties were checked for fire and smoke, police said. A joint investigation involving the Force and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service continues.
Layla’s family said: ‘Layla was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She was funny, charismatic and so fast.

‘[She was] Always ready with a joke or a smart comment that brought smiles to those around her. With an infectious energy and a heart full of love, she had a way to make every moment brighter.
“She was a true friend for so much, and always brought laughs and warmth wherever she went. She had a passion for tapping, make -up and drawing – and expressing her creativity in ways that made her unique Layla.
‘Layla was a typical, happy and full 13-year-old life filled with dreams, laughter and love. She was cherished above words by her mum, father, brothers, sisters and grandparents who deeply worshiped her. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and had a lasting impact on so much.
“We all thank everyone for their kind words and flowers. As a family, we ask that everyone respect our privacy and grieve us at this real sad time. ‘
