An 11-year-old girl who went missing after entering the river the Thames was named Kaliyah Coa.
An ‘extensive search’ was conducted at about 1:30 pm on Monday after the incident in East London.
According to police, the youngster played during a school day and entered the water near Barge House Causeway, North Woolwich.
It is now said that a recovery mission is underway to find Kaliyah next to the Thames, with the Met police conducting an extensive investigation into the area.
