While his team prepares for the 60th West Derby, Fremantle coach needs a victory against his city rivals.
Dockers have lost six games in a row, including their last four 2024 games.
That is the longest loser streak in the club during the time in charge of Longmuir.

In five seasons under Longmuir, the Dockers have made end only once, in 2022. Otherwise, 12, 11, 14 and ninth have finished.

After his afternoon stumbled against Sydney last week, after being in a winning position, Sunday afternoon’s derby is coming as a mandatory profit proposal.

His Derby task will become more difficult on that long road trip, and a match that began just after noon in warm and humid conditions.
However, coach Andrew Mcqualter, preparing for his first experience in a WA derby, said his players would not use those difficult conditions as an excuse.
“Everyone is good, we have a seven -day break,” Mcqualter said.
“The training was well planned this week, well executed by our medical team and his physical conditioning team and we are ready.”
Mcqualter confirmed that Eagles fans would have to wait another week for their first glance to the precious recruit of WA, Bo Allan, who had seemed ready for a debut in round 1 before he hit the disease.
The Eagles coach said the debut would not arrive this weekend.
“He is working hard on his trade and he is improving, but it won’t be this week,” said Mcqualter.
“We just want to make sure it is really ready when I have that opportunity.”
