A four -year -old boy died after he was beaten by a car out of control on a path near Geelong.
The emergency services rushed the presidents AVE in Ocean Grove after a report that a car had lost control and crashed with a child around 4.50 pm on Friday.
A police spokesman said that the four -year -old boy died at the scene.
The 71 -year -old driver of Ocean Grove was arrested and will be interviewed by the Police.
The main detectives of the collision investigation unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and have asked anyone who has witnessed the collision or has images of CCTV or Dashcam that communicate with the police.
