Former Cyclone Tam Weather Live: Flights canceled and delayed at night due to Auckland’s storm

Auckland was hit by a severe night storm that caused flooding in areas of the region.

The storm line, connected to the former Cyclone Tam, is moving very slowly throughout the region.

MethService meterologist Alain Baillie said 26.5 millimeters of rain were recorded in Mahurangi, northern Auckland, between 22:00 and 23:00.

About 21 millimeters were registered at Whenuapai Airport at the time of half -night.

He leaves the bottom of wild climate days after former Cyclone Tam, who has left thousands still without energy, and damaged roads and other infrastructure.
