A British Airways-Jet became the first plane that ended up at Heathrow as the airport opened again after an 18-hour restoration.
The airport, one of the busiest in the world, based all flights due to a massive power failure caused by a fire at a nearby electrical substation.
The plane touched on Friday, about 18 hours after the operations were suspended. Heathrow usually handles about 1,300 take -offs and landings daily over its two runways, making the disruption significant.
Investigations into the fire continue. Despite an investigation against terrorism launched, the authorities found no direct proof of sabotage.
