“The worst news and it’s just Tuesday,” declared a second.

A third compared the cancellation to the feeling of ‘getting ghosted after three incredible dates’. “Make it sense!” demanded them.

“This show deserves a season 4. Come, streaming platforms don’t let us down,” another argued.

Season three concluded with what co-showrunner Justin Noble previously described as a ‘satisfying’ and ‘honest’ happy ending, which makes some viewers wonder if it was intentionally intended to act as an end to the series.

However, Noble at the time insisted that this was not the case. “No one told us to pack up the show or something like that,” he said The Hollywood Reporter in January. “I just think me as Creator, I lose interest in stone hangers.”
