Hunting homes suffer from smoke and water from adjacent fires, leaving them without permanent accommodation.

Initially displaced for a short period, bounced from Airbnb to Airbnb, and eventually ended up being long after the landlord told them the property was sold.

Mandy added: “Basically, just to help us get back on our feet. And any bills we have generated, you know, pay those bills off and try to find a new place to call home.”
