A father from Melbourne recalled the moment when a knife was sustained in his chest during a terrifying invasion of the house.
David had just made coffee while his wife Amanda was asleep when two people, who wore their shirts like Balaclavas, began to advance in Malvern’s house of the couple around 5.30 in the morning yesterday.
The couple was implacable when trying to enter so that David took action and defended themselves.
“I found an intruder with an arm through the window, through the blinds with a knife and grabbed my computer from my desk and hit his hand to try to tear down his hand,” he told 9News.
Despite their efforts, the criminals managed to enter the house.
It was then that they faced David with a knife.
“The next thing you know was that they were at home, one of them had the knife and was pushing it in my chest and told me to stay there and asked where the keys,” he said.
The criminals caught the keys of Audi and Jaguar of the family and effective of the bank before fleeing the scene in the vehicles.
The incident has left the traumatized family.
“I feel really fragile today, I feel traumatized, I’m in this brain fog feeling like a zombie,” Amanda said.
“It would be very reluctant to be alone in the house.”
The police were called to the scene and, only 15 minutes later, located that the Jaguar left a few streets away.
The Audi was found about four hours later in a house in Frankston.
A 17 -year -old boy, a 23 -year -old man and a 36 -year -old man were arrested and accused of a series of crimes, including the theft of a motorized vehicle.
9News understands that the trio was not directly involved in aggravated robbery.
In the Court of Magistrates of Frankston today, the 36 -year -old man was awarded the bail to reappear on May 5 and the 23 -year -old was sent again to face the Court again on April 4.
The 17 -year -old refused to appear today in the children’s court and did not file a bail request for this matter. He has been retained in custody to reappear in court on April 7.
Today, the Police arrested a 15 -year -old boy in relation to the alleged invasion of the house, as well as another invasion of the house in McKinnon and an attempt to invasion of the house in Bentleight East that same night.
It is being questioned by the police and the charges are expected to be established.
The investigations are still ongoing.
