2. Phelp had only two assists in 12 games, so he didn’t tear the Pea Spots completely. That said, he was responsible for the defense and made some strong games with the puck.
3. If RNH plays wings in the playoffs, despite his recent excellence, Edmonton still needs a fourth-tier center this playoff season. I suggest Phelp outperforms Derek Ryan this year, and I personally prefer the younger and larger centers in the lineup.
4. Persistence, Phelp must dig harder and win more battles harder. He has nothing to lose here. He might as well do it. Like many young players, he was a little temporary in his first NHL game. It’s a better choice for him to go all out and try to play a role in the offense, while still remembering to always put defense first.
