Home Network’s Scott McGillivray wants you to star in the third season of the reality TV show Renovation Resort.

McGillivray told the main stage crowd at the Home and Garden Show in Edmonton: “We have no one from Alberta yet.

At the Renovated Resort, which will be airing in the second season, McGillivray and Bryan Baeumler recruited four contractors and design duo to create the most attractive beachfront cabins at McGillivray’s scenic lakeside resort in Wasaga Beach, Georgia Bay, Ontario. The winner will receive the title of the Renovation Resort Championship and $100,000. McGillivray encourages Edmonton area talent to apply for actors in the third season of filming this summer.

After showing off a preview of Season 2 (which airs on the home network tonight at 9pm), McGilliffry also talked about real estate trends and the Edmonton market, which he said was in good shape for investment.

“Alberta is at its best for the next 10 years,” McGilliffri said, comparing the province’s real estate market with the rest of the country. Houses in major cities are still within the scope of buyers, and mortgage rates may be low with a period of President Trump’s U.S. and its impact on Canada’s economy.

McGillivray notes that lower interest rates in Canada may help those who need to renew their mortgages over the next two years – a record number, accounting for 70% of all mortgages in Canada.

But there may be real estate opportunities even in turmoil, or due to turmoil.

“One of the best times to invest in yourself is when everyone else is distracted,” McGilliffri said.

When considering the project and uncertainty over the coming years, he predicts that any plans planned for the coming months can still remain close to the budget. Long-term projects can take two years to complete, and suddenly, there is a lot of uncertainty in cost, especially those involving materials and equipment.

“This hot tub is already here, but the one I’m going to order will probably increase by 25%,” he said.

One of the biggest draws of Edmonton’s home and garden show is the work that competes in the backyard war, and xxxx envisions the ultimate setting. This year, Mohr’s landscaping services, elegant landscaping, HML landscape design and construction, and landscapes in Salisbury Landscaping, participated in the audience vote, including striking settings including a Zen garden, an outdoor dining space, a gorgeous waterfall feature in the shadow of the pergola, a gorgeous waterfall, a pool made of iron paper and wine pick pick pick.
