After showing off a preview of Season 2 (which airs on the home network tonight at 9pm), McGilliffry also talked about real estate trends and the Edmonton market, which he said was in good shape for investment.

Houses in major cities are still within the scope of buyers, and mortgage rates may be low with a period of President Trump’s U.S. and its impact on Canada’s economy.

McGillivray notes that lower interest rates in Canada may help those who need to renew their mortgages over the next two years – a record number, accounting for 70% of all mortgages in Canada.
