Bryn & Ku’s Singles Club is a new series of documentaries for Spinoff after comedians and award-winning friends Brynley Stent and Kura Forrester while boarding a cross-country search to find love. Knowing people from all spheres of life and relationship status will explore the realities of dating and relationships in modern Aotearoa and learn more about themselves along the way.
In the final episode, the two travel to the Tamisa to get some wisdom of those who have been in the dating scenario long before they are born. Visiting local sports clubs and community gardens, they know the older neoZelandes who have found love later in their lives, or contentment to stay alone and are happy to share what they have learned about hearts.
Returning home to Tāmaki Makauau with a wealth of wisdom, the pair reflects on all the people they have known, the lessons they will bring in the future and will ask one more great question: the love they were looking for was right there all the time?
