Fire teams are fighting a home fire in Paraparaumu, on the coast of Kāpiti, north of Wellington.
The fire was reported shortly after 8 pm on Wednesday, in a house at the corner of Cypress Grove and Makarini Street, near the State Highway 1.
On Wednesday night, fire and emergency said six fire trucks attended the fire, which had been controlled, and no one was injured.
