The Meteorology Office has a great flood warning for the Buloo, Flinders, Georgans, Parao, Thmoson, Barcoo and Warrego rivers.
Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane have felt the impact of the rain, however, the conditions are established on the southeast coast.
While the Queenslanders are not alien to extreme climatic events, the financial cost of this week’s floods is increasing.
The leader of the nationals, David Littleproud, said that the loss of sheep and cattle could reach millions, however, it can spend a time before the total impact is known.
