One person died and others are seriously injured after two accidents in Waikato.
Emergency services were called for the first single vehicle accident at Kawhia Road, Oparau, around 8:45 pm on Sunday.
Police said the only occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Meanwhile, it is believed that others are seriously injured after a second accident – involving two vehicles – in Hamilton on Monday morning.
Police said they were called to Wairere Road, Queenwood, just after 7am.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area, with deviations in force.
