An accident in Wellington, involving several vehicles, blocked a main road in the Highway One state this afternoon.
Police said the accident happened before 2:30 pm on Friday at Wellington RD and left a car on the roof.
The accident closed a track on state road 1, however, the track was reopened.
The drivers were advised early Friday to do fun at Crawford RD, Rongotai RD and Kilbirnie Crescent.
Nzta said drivers should expect delays traveling between the center of Wellington and the east suburbs.
Police have not yet determined if anyone was injured.

Wellington Combined Taxi Contract Manager, Harpress Kohli, told RNZ that he was aware of the accident at 3 pm.
Kohli said that when his team arrived at the scene that the ambulance workers and the police were serving the driver.
He told his knowledge that he was not injured, besides some concussion.
He was taken to the hospital for some x-rays, said Kohli.
The company spoke to the driver about the potential cause of the accident when he could, he said.
Wellington RD resident William Baird heard the home accident as happened.
When he went out to see what happened, he could see that the taxi was reversed on the roof and the emergency services were already there.
His apartment colleague Eddy Kerhislop said the stretch of the road was “quite horrible.”
During his two years living on the road, he said he had seen another accident in the area.
