Former mixed fighter Conor McGregor said he wanted to be the next president of Ireland and said he would post the EU migration channel to a referendum if elected.

In the post on his Instagram account Thursday night, he said he wanted to know why the country’s government agrees with the “so fierce” treaty.
He said that everyone in Ireland would have a voice and a choice about their future! ” He urged them to vote McGregor, “and made your voice hear!”
In a photo that accompanied his post, McGregor stands in front of a plane with a young child and wears a green baseball cap with the slogan “Make Ireland again”.
McGregor, 36, used his visit to the White House to criticize immigration and said Ireland was “underway to lose his Irish” due to the “illegal immigration rack”.
The visit and remarks McGregor made in Washington have sharply criticized Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin who said the remarks were “wrong and not the spirit of St Patrick’s Day, or the views of the people of Ireland, did not reflect”.
