The local political group of the green party and adjacent work, City Vision, announced its 2025 candidates for the Auckland Council.
Aucklanders will vote for new counselors later this year.
City Vision candidate Julie Fairey was scheduled to maintain her position as an advisor to the albert-eden-Puketāpapa wing and would be next to local board member Jon Turner.
Patrick Reynolds, vice -president of the city center advisory panel, which advises the best use of the city center, would also be contesting Waitematā and the Gulf Wing, currently represented by Mike Lee.
President Bobby Shen said the three candidates represented the group’s view to the city.
“We need experienced people, engaged and willing to put Mahi by working with the communities they represent to present positive benefits to all acklanders.”
He said the group was focused on ensuring that the houses were built near the public transport network.
He said they were also concerned with protecting the environment, including the restoration of the city’s navigable roads.
