A Mercedes driver was arrested after a collision with a tractor that crashed into two homes.
The Mercedes and the tractor collided at the A51 Vicars Cross Road in Chester, Cheshire, at about 06.35 hours on Tuesday, police said.
The tractor crashed into two semi-detached propertiescausing extensive damage, including the collapse of exterior walls, but the residents were not injured.
The driver of the Mercedes-a 52-year-old man from Boughton-is arrested on the suspicion of dangerous driving and drug management, Cheshire police said.
He was released pending further inquiries.

The drivers of the two vehicles were taken as a precaution to the gravin of Chester Hospital, but were later released.
Both vehicles were recovered from the scene.
Cheshire police have called on someone with information or video footage to contact them.
