Negotiations for a partial Russia-Ukraine wind led by a US delegation are underway in Saudi Arabia, the Kremlin said.
The talks in Riyadh between an American delegation and Russian negotiators began on Monday morning.
This follows a round of discussions between American and Ukrainian negotiators, Russian media reports.
The primary purpose of the talks, the White House said, to reach a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, to enable the free flow of delivery.

White House national security adviser Mike Waltz told CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday that the teams would also discuss ‘the control line’ between the two countries, which he described as ‘verification measures, peacekeeping, freezing the lines where they are’.
He said that ‘trust-building measures’ are discussed, including the return of Ukrainian children taken by Russia.
It comes after US President Donald Trump’s Special envoy Steve Witkoff rejected British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Plans as a “Combination of an posture and an attitude” In an interview with pro-Trump journalist Tucker Carlson.

This follows a weekend of deadly strikes on Ukraine.
