The director of Captain America: Brave new world addressed the clumsy reviews of the latest Marvel outing.
Released on February 14, Brave new world See that the Sam Wilson of Anthony Mackie takes on the Captain America Mantle after Chris Evans’s exit in 2019 Avengers: Endgame.
The film, directed by Julius onah, did not do well with critics and earns a meager 49 percent critic on Rotten Tomatoes.
More worrying, however Brave new world made a movie history for the comic book franchise for the worst possible reason.
According to Forbes, Captain America: Brave New World sank to new lows, earned the lowest cinemascore in MCU history, earned a B minus -that may not sound so bad, but compared to other marvel films.
Cinemascore measures the attraction of a film by studying early reactions to large releases.
This is the only Marvel film that has ever earned a B rating, with The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The miracles Everyone achieves higher with a B+.
Even the very malice Etc. (2021) scraped a B+ rating.
By comparison, at the top of the spectrum, earn an A+ wax The Avengers, Black pantherand Avengers: Endgame.
That said, it’s not all bad news for Brave new world With the film that performs much better with fans than the history of low Cinemascore history can suggest.
Since its release, the film has managed to earn a much better audience of 80 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, based on more than 5,000 verified reviews.

During a recent appearance on the Phase hero Podcast, Onah received the film’s mixed bag.
“I’m just excited to share the film with audiences,” he said. ‘You make it for audiences to have a good time and have a very good experience, and we also had a wonderful time to make this movie and worked very hard to create something that with themes and ideas talked what was for us personally. ‘
