Forest looks shaky in the fa cup
Much has been made of the starry season of Nottingham Forest this term, and rightly. They are third in the Premier League and boast 22 points more than they scored last season with nine games left.
However, things were not so smooth in the cup, and on two occasions needed fines on their way to the quarterfinals.
After a 2-0 victory over Luton Town, they struggled against League One Exeter, which was held to a 2-2 draw before leading 4-2. They last played a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town before coming through another shooting.
Things were a little more convincing for Brighton, who overcame Championships Norwich in the third round before eliminating Chelsea and then Newcastle impressively, although they needed extra time in the final round when Danny Welbeck made the winner at St James’ Park.

Brighton v Nottingham Forest Line-ups
With the confirmation of the lineout, we now know that Danny Welbeck is elected over Joao Pedro at the front, and young Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari is trusted in the engine room next to Carlos Baleba.
Meanwhile, the unfortunate injuries sustained by Chris Wood while sustained on international service that Taiwo Awoniyi gets a chance to start.
The formation appears to be a 4-2-3-1 or perhaps a 4-4-1-1, with Nuno avoiding its normal back three and wing backs for a rear four. Nicolas Dominguez, Elliot Anderson and Ryan Yates all seem to start as a trio in the middle of the park

Interview: Jan Paul van Hecke on Brighton’s next step and lessons of Virgil van Dijk
If you listened to Jan Paul van Hecke talk, you can begin to understand why Fabian Hurzeler empowered the center half to talk more, especially in a week like this.
Brighton and Hove Albion were so focused on the right mindset that they sent their group clippings of late goals. The idea is to promote faith, especially since the club aims to take the important next step and win their first major trophy through the FA Cup. “I feel like we can really do something in this cup,” says Van Hecke.
The Dutch center’s approach helps. “I like to motivate other players,” explains Van Hecke, but staff say it is typical of the humility of this leader. The 24-year-old man, of course, emerged as a senior voice.

Brighton trying to avenge humiliation
Brighton’s last meeting with Nottingham Forest was one they won’t be able to forget for a long, long time.
Brighton, who beat 7-0 on the city land earlier this year, fell to the knees of the high-flying forest, with a Chris Wood Hat-Trick driving the hosts to the route.
A result that can easily derail a season, Brighton has since found form and came up in the contemporary collision with their tails.
They would be desperate to take revenge on the side of Nuno Espirito Santo by limiting their dreams of FA Cup glory.
