A nine -year -old boy died after he was accidentally fired on a property near Goulburn in the south of Nueva Wales del Sur.
The emergency services were called to a property in Windelama just after 11 am after the reports of a shooting.
The officers were told that a 9 -year -old boy had been injured after the accidental discharge of a firearm.
He was treated by serious neck injuries by paramedics, but died on the scene.
Police have begun investigation into the cause of the incident.
