A baby brand is reminiscent of 25,000 packages about lead pollution.
Target’s Good & Gather Baby Pea, Zucchini, Boer and Tiemie Vegetable Puree were recalled.
More than 25,000 packages of the baby food, sold in 4-ounce baths, are influenced by the recall, issued in March by the manufacturer of Miami, Fuselva.
Consumers are requested to check for Lot numbers 4167 and 4169, with the best dates of December 7 and 9, respectively. According to the US Food and Drug Administration, the recall begins due to potentially increased lead levels in the products involved.
Consumers should not feed babies the products.
The recall is listed as Class II, which means that the products are unlikely to do serious damage, but still have the potential to cause temporary or reversible problems.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is no safe exposure to lead for children. Exposure to the heavy metal can cause development and cognitive problems.
Last month, bags with ground coffee sold in 15 states were recalled due to a labeling issue.
Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA has issued a reminder of some of his pockets of 12 Ounce Traverse City Cherry Artificially flavored Decaf Light Roast Ground Coffee. The recall came after 692 cases of the coffee were mistakenly regarded as ‘decaffein’, as the coffee was actually ‘caffeine’, according to a report on Tuesday by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The cases of coffee-which each had six bags with 12 grams-were sent to distribution centers and retail stores in 15 states: Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Southern Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
