Police in Greece are investigating after a bomb exploded outside the country’s most important railway business.
There were no reports of injuries after the explosion next to Hellenic Train’s Central -Oathene offices on Friday night.
Allegedly, an anonymous telephone warning was made to a newspaper and a news website and said that a bomb was left outside the railroad offices and would leave within about 40 minutes.
Police forensic experts wearing white coverage were collected at the scene at the scene after the explosion on Syngroulan, a major road in the Greek capital.

The male caller gave a 35 to 40 minutes timeframe and insisted that it wasn’t a joke, Efsyn said.
Police blocked off the site and kept people away from the building in an area with various bars and restaurants.
A suitcase, described in local media as a backpack, with an explosives that are near the Hellenian step building.
The explosion comes amid widespread public anger over the Tempe -Railway disaster in which 57 people, mostly university students, were killed in North Greece.
The government has been widely criticized for dealing with the aftermath of the country’s deadly trace disaster when a freight train and a passenger train in opposite directions were accidentally placed on the same track on 28 February 2023.
Invalidity has grown over the past few weeks in the wake of the second anniversary of the tragedy.

Safety deficits exposed
The accident, which exposed serious shortcomings in Greece’s railway system, including in security systems, caused mass protests, led by the family members of those who were dead, who targeted the conservative government of the country.
Critics accuse the authorities of not accepting political responsibility for the disaster or holding senior officials accountable.
So far, only railway officials have been charged with any crimes. Several protests in recent weeks have become violent, with protesters clashing with police.
Heated debate in parliament
Earlier Friday, a fierce debate on the accident in the Greek parliament referred a former Cabinet minister to investigators for alleged failures in dealing with the immediate aftermath of the accident.
Hellenic Train said that it “condemned every form of violence and tension that causes a climate of toxicity that undermines all progress”.

Greece has a long history of politically motivated violence, with domestic extremist groups performing small -scale bomb attacks, which usually cause damage but rarely lead to injuries.
