Astronauts Suni Wiliams, Butch Wilmore updates: Crew-9 approach deorbit burn, splashdown on SpaceX Dragon

After spending nine months trapped in space, NASA Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are a few moments to restart the Earth’s atmosphere in a Spacex dragon capsule.

Around 8 am Aedt, Wilmore and Williams will begin to Deorbit Burn, which will delay their spacecraft and begin to go down and return to the earth’s atmosphere.

After that, the crew-9 will take about an hour in Spacex Dragon to splash in the Gulf of America (Gulf of Mexico).

Until now, NASA and Spacex have not reported any problem with the operation.

They joined Wilmore and Williams upon their return to Earth are NASA astronaut NASA Hague and the Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov.

A recovery ship is currently placed off the coast of Tallahassee, which is prepared to recover the four astronauts when Splash Down is completed.

NASA has shared a video feed from Spacex Crew-9 Recentry and Splashdown re-entry, with the world watching Wilmore and Williams prepare to finally return to Earth.

NASA shared an estimated Re-entrepreneurial trip map of CREW-9, adding that it would be difficult for spectators to see due to the mission that occurs during the day.

Wilmore, who is an old man in his Baptist Church at home, said he can’t wait to minister face to face and smell freshly cut grass.

Despite his incredible circumstances, Wilmore remained significantly in contact with the members of his congregation and occasionally participated in the services.

Williams cannot wait to take a long walk along the beach with his dogs and enjoy a swim in the ocean.

“Each astronaut that is thrown into space, we teach you, do not think about when you return home,” said NASA’s Mission of Space Operations and former astronaut Ken Bowersox.

“Think about how well your mission is going and if you are lucky, you could stay longer.”

More to come …
