Tottenham’s manager Ange Postecoglou, has expressed his frustration that video criticisms are “killing the game” after his team had an equalizer overturned in the 1-0 defeat in Chelsea in the English Premier League.

Pape Sarr’s goal in the 69th minute was rejected for his foul in the accumulation, with the video assistant of Video Jarred Gillett and the referee in the Craig Pawson field taking a long time to make a decision.

It contributed to the second half had 12 minutes of detention time in Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Fernández had previously scored for Chelsea in the 50th minute.

“Is [VAR] Kill the game, “said Postecoglou.

“It is not the same game that used to be.”

Postecoglou added: “You just don’t know what you are going to get. You’re standing for 12 minutes. It’s killing the game.

“But nobody cares. I think everyone loves drama, controversy.

“I am sure there will be 24 hours of discussion about it, I think that is what everyone wants. He is killing the game show.”

Postecoglou seemed more unhappy that it took so long to make a decision, instead of the decision itself.

“If the referee saw that and needed to see that for six minutes, tell me what is clear and obvious about it,” he said.

There has been a growing disconnection among postecoglou and Tottenham fans, with the team by languishing in 14th place and losing their game identity.

This was a 16th defeat in 30 Premier League games this season for the Spurs.
