A third teenage boy was arrested and charged in connection with the death of 15-year-old Amen Teklay on a street in Glasgow.
Amen, who was an Eritric Refugee, was seriously injured in the city’s Clarendon Street at about 10.30am on Wednesday, March 5 and died at the scene shortly thereafter.
Two Glassgow Boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested and charged with the incident over the weekend after a murder investigation was opened.
Police Scotland said on Sunday that a third son, 16 years old, was arrested and charged in connection with Amen’s death.
They said he would appear in court over time, and that a report will be submitted to Procurator Fiscal, the public prosecutor.
The two boys who were arrested and charged earlier appeared in court on March 10.
The 14-year-old boy was charged with murder, while both were accused of assault and carried an offensive weapon in a public place.
