Currently, all teams are deployed and await a busy night in the metropolitan areas due to the awkward climate and important events such as the Formula One Grand Prize and football games at Melbourne Cricket Ground and Marvel Stadium.
There are more than 136,000 people in Albert Park for the Grand Prix and another 100,000 football fans who go to the stadiums.
Ambulance Victoria in a statement said he is preparing for an “exceptionally busy night.”
“Our paramedics will be working hard and we will have as many ambulances on the road as possible,” said the Victoria ambulance.
Residents are urged to call only triple-zero for genuine emergencies and situations that threaten life.
“It can help ensure that ambulances are available for those who need them most when they save triple zero (000) for genuine emergencies,” said the Victoria ambulance.
“For non -potential life situations, consider alternative care options such as the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED), Local Urgent Care Clinics or Llamas Nurse.”
