Alone Australia season 3 returns to screens: Here’s what to know


Something Australia the third season arrives on the screens tonight on SBS and .
Ten participants will prove their skills and resilience in the ranges of the West Coast of Tasmania in a third “supernotera” season of the show.
Isolated from the outside world, survivors will fight to adapt, survive others and ensure the $ 250,000 prize as the last person standing.

What are the rules for only Australia?

Each participant drops into an area that is unknown to them, isolated from people and is asked to call themselves that their trip is self -as. They must ensure refuge, find their own food and water, and survive more time from their competitors.
There are only three ways to abandon competition: taking advantage, being medically unable to continue or be the last person standing.

Participants have limits in the articles that are allowed to bring, but that is not the only restriction they face.

Being in Tasmania, participants are also aware of endangered species that are not allowed to eat and are taught hunting techniques to minimize environmental impact.

They are guided by the Environmental Protection Laws of Tasmania and the Custody Guide of the communities of the first nations.

Who is in the cast for the third season?

The cast includes nine survivors from all over Australia and, in a first series, a New Zealand participant.
The group has a wide range of background, from English teachers to hunters and professional farmers, each of which provides unique knowledge and connections to nature.

Some, like the leader of the Karla expedition, grew up time outdoors from childhood. Others, such as the Eva recovery facilitator, found a love for nature and the Bushcraft later in life.

The cast of the third season also brings multiple firstfruits to the Australian version of The Alone franchise.

Five participants are women, achieving gender balance for the first time, while Victorian Bushman Muzza, at age 63, is the oldest contestant of the Australian series.

What can the contestants take?

With them from a proportionate list, including clothing, a basic first aid kit and survival tools.
Making this crucial decision before they arrived could even be the difference between winning and having to get.

From sleeping bags and kitchen utensils to hunting equipment, everyone should try to anticipate their needs and provide their challenges.

What are only the cast?

Competitors do not have a camera crew with them, and all images are filmed.
Beyond their immediate survival, the contestants also have to combat loneliness, the disconnection of the community and boredom.
Participants often cite loneliness as one of the challenging aspects of the process, but will depend on the experiences of life to keep themselves.

The Ceilidh competitor, a Queensland disability services officer, says that her experience of born deaf has forced her to learn to overcome the feelings of loneliness due to inaccessibility in daily life.

How long do people last?

The previous two seasons of some Australia were won respectively by Gina Chick, who lasted 67 days, and Krzysztof Wojtkowski, who lasted 64 days.

But before alone Hit Australia, the original franchise obtained global recognition in the United States (11 seasons) and has inspired several international versions, in Denmark (eight seasons), Germany (one season), Netherlands (a season), United Kingdom (one season), Norway (one season), Sweden (one season) and Finland (soon this year).

How to see only Australian season 3

Only Australian season 3 opens with a double episode on Wednesday, March 26 at 7.30 pm in SBS and Before finishing with a double ending on June 4.

The 12 episodes will be available with subtitles in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Arabs, Vietnamese and Koreans, and audio descriptions for blind audiences or vision problems.
