Almost all 185 Woolworths stores closed for a while on Monday morning due to a problem with electronic prices.
The supermarket chain said there was a technical failure with its electronic shelf labels throughout its network.
All stores should have reopened ever since, said a gate around 9am.
“Simply put, electronic shelf labels are currently displaying the standard shelf price of all products and not showing special prices,” they said.
“If a product is on sale this week, our customers will not lose, as the promotional price will be charged at check -out.”
